I bet those people don't even know anything behind 2012, just because the Mayans say so? There's more than just that... "the world didn't end in 2000"... that's great but that alone doesn't disprove anything.

This movie looks good, but it totally fucks up everybody's interpretation of what really will happen on 2012. The events that may happen on December 21st, 2012 don't involve massive Tsunamis, earthquakes, or volcanoes. All that stuff is Hollywood bullshit. What is believed to happen involves the orbit of Earth causing our planet to pass unusually close to a black hole. Nothing life threatening or something that should concern us.
